OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus 12R are coming out next month, on January 23 in India. Before the launch, key details about the latter have leaked — including the colour options it will come in.
OnePlus 12R is likely to be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, which is what it’s called in China. Tipster Ishan Agarwal has leaked an image and a video teaser of the device, and it looks like it’ll be available in two color options: black and blue. Ishan says that these are the only colours coming to the Indian market, and the ‘Mingisha gold’ colour that was revealed in a new Weibo post won’t be making its way to India.

As for the design, it looks similar to the outgoing OnePlus 11R, but reports suggest that the device could feature a metal frame instead of the plastic that the OnePlus 11R has, and the back will continue to be glass.
Coming to the specifications, the OnePlus 12R is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, which powers the OnePlus 11. Moreover, it could get a triple camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide and a third 2MP macro camera as well.
The device will first make its way to the Chinese market, and the launch is expected on January 4. It will then make its way globally and to India, subsequently, on January 23.
