New Delhi: In what can be seen as a precursor to the discontinuation of the flagship Galaxy S4 smartphone, Samsung has announced a price cut of Rs 3,550 on its original selling price.
A retailer told IBNLive that the Galaxy S4 smartphone is now available for Rs 18,350. However, online shopping site Amazon is selling the device at Rs 17,999, with an additional offer of gift cards worth Rs 1,000.
The smartphone, originally priced at Rs 21,999, features a 13-megapixel rear camera and has an internal memory of 16GB which is expandable up to 64GB through microSD card.
The price cut comes as the South Korean manufacturer is expected to unveil the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone along with other new products at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 in Barcelona.
