Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 series was unveiled earlier this month in India which includes the Redmi Note 13 Pro models as well. The Redmi Note series started its journey as a value-for-money product which Xiaomi says continues to be its focus, but when a Redmi Note phone is priced at Rs 31,999 (without any bank offers), the value part feels slightly shifted.
Having said that, the new Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus model gets premium features, a shiny design and a 3D curved AMOLED display, which wouldn’t have been possible without a price hike.
So, what else does the new Redmi Note 13 Pro model offer to the buyers and does it justify the new approach from the company with the Redmi Note series. Before we answer these questions (at a later date), here’s a quick unboxing and first look of the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus smartphone which is now available with 512GB storage in the market.
Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus gets a 120Hz AMOLED display with a curved 3D panel. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. You get a 200MP primary rear camera along with an 8MP and 2MP ultrawide and macro sensor, respectively. Xiaomi persists with the MIUI 14 version that is based on Android 13 version. It gets a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W charging, IP68 rating is there too and yes, NFC support.
