Salman Khan’s controversial reality show, Bigg Boss 17 is going on in full swing. The season, which kicked off on October 15, is centered on Dil, Dimag, and Dum. While the concept is new, the conflicts and arguments on the show remain similar to the past seasons. The daily drama continues to captivate audiences with its compelling episodes. But the latest episode of season 17 has brought a significant twist. Anurag Dobhal, who had been nominated for the entire season by Bigg Boss, saw the conclusion of his punishment, with Neil Bhatt taking over the nomination mantle.
This happened after a therapy room discussion on cleanliness, Bigg Boss gave a task to the Dimaag room members to deliberate on whether Anurag Dobhal’s nomination should end or not. Initially resistant, Vicky Jain was opposed to ending the nomination. However, other contestants including Arun Mashettey, Sana Raees Khan, and Sunny Aryaa advocated for giving Anurag a chance.
Later, after a collective discussion among the Dimaag room members, Bigg Boss announced the termination of Anurag Dobhal’s season-long nomination. This decision would be effective from next week, with Anurag still currently nominated, as per Bigg Boss.
In a surprising turn, Bigg Boss then tasked the Dimaag room members to choose a replacement for Anurag, someone who would bear the nomination tag for the entire season. Responding to this, the UK07 Rider suggested the name of his co-contestant Munawar Faruqui, while Arun Mashettey and Sunny Aryaa favoured Sana Raees Khan’s choice. Sana, initially undecided, took Vicky Jain’s opinion.
During the conversation, Vicky Jain promptly suggested Neil Bhatt, expressing dissatisfaction with Neil Bhatt’s game from the start. Sana, after considering Vicky’s perspective, supported Neil Bhatt’s name. Following further discussion, the Dimaag room collectively nominated Neil Bhatt for the entire season.
Upon exiting the room, Aishwarya Sharma criticised Sana Raees Khan, labeling her as foolish and silly, asserting that she couldn’t stand her ground. Meanwhile, Neil Bhatt confronted Vicky Jain aggressively, with Aishwarya Sharma calling Vicky Jain a “manipulator.”
Salman Khan’s show made a comeback with a fresh season on October 15. ‘Bigg Boss 17’ is available for streaming on JioCinema, providing round-the-clock drama-filled entertainment. Additionally, the show is broadcast on Colors TV at 9 pm.
The house theme for this season is ‘Iss baar game nahi hoga sabke liye same to same,’ suggesting a departure from Bigg Boss’s traditional principle of equality. ‘BB 17’ introduces exciting new features, including the Archive Room, which functions as a comprehensive library storing footage from every episode of the ongoing season. Furthermore, ‘BB 17’ is structured into three houses this time: Dil, Dimaag, and Dum.
The contestants of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ include Abhishek Kumar, Isha Malviya, Rinku Dhawan, Arun Mashettey, Sunny Arya, Firoza Khan (Khanzaadi), Sana Raees Khan, Anurag Dobhal, Munawar Faruqui, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Samarth Jurel, and Mannara Chopra.
Soniya Bansal was the initial contestant to be eliminated from the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house. Subsequently, Manasvi Mamgai faced eviction as well. On November 20, Navid Sole departed from the house in a mid-week eviction. Concurrently, Jigna Vora was eliminated on November 25.
