Mom-to-be Devoleena Bhattacharjee Looks Radiant In Silk Saree At Her Baby Shower

Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee will soon welcome a little one into her world. After celebrating Navratri and Durga Puja with much pomp and splendour, the mom-to-be enjoyed her baby shower with her family and close friends. Devoleena’s good friend and Saath Nibhana Saathiya co-star Bhavini Purohit shared a sneak peek of the actress’s baby shower on Instagram.

In the picture, the mom-to-be looked effortlessly gorgeous in a peach-coloured silk saree paired with a matching blouse. Minimal accessories and an open, middle-parted hairdo added stars to her stunning look. Devoleena’s husband complimented her in a pink shirt and white pants. Meanwhile, actress Bhavini was wearing a pink ruffled pink saree, and her husband Dhaval Dave sported a floral shirt and white pants.

Devoleena was seated in a chair with her husband, Shahnawaz Shaikh, and her friends standing beside her, all flaunting their brightest smiles. They all posed against the pink, blue and white celestial-themed decor. Bhavini posted the picture with the caption, “Baby shower, celebrations @devoleena @shanwaz7636.”

Meanwhile, Devoleena also shared a few glimpses from her baby shower. In one of the videos uploaded to her Instagram Stories, the mom-to-be was seen cutting a scrumptious pink cake, and in another, she posed with her group of friends. Following these was a photo of the parents-to-be, Devoleena and Shahnawaz, in which the actress was seen resting her head on her husband’s shoulder.

Devoleena, currently in the third trimester of her pregnancy, left no stone unturned in having a good time during Navratri and Durga Puja. From pandal hopping with her husband and friends in Mumbai to enjoying a garba night, she did it all. Moreover, she also showcased her Bengali side in a “laal paar sada” saree.

On October 10, the actress posted a set of pictures while flaunting her baby bump. Devoleena Bhattacharjee penned a heartwarming note along with the post, which read, “May the abundant blessings of Maa Durga bring peace, joy and prosperity to your life. Hearty wishes of Durga Puja to you and your family. Happy Ashtami.”

The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress announced her pregnancy on August 15 through a social media post. She shared a series of pictures from a traditional “Panchamrti” ritual that took place at her home and was attended by her family and friends. Sharing the post, Devoleena wrote, “Celebrating the divine journey to motherhood with the sacred Panchamrit ritual, where tradition and love blend to bless the mother and her unborn child with health, prosperity, and joy during this beautiful chapter of life.” Meanwhile, she was also seen holding a “You can stop asking now” onesie in the pictures.

In other news, Devoleena quit the show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya after its 100th episode owing to her pregnancy.
