Not Salman Khan But Karan Johar Will be Hosting Weekend Ka Vaar in Bigg Boss 17 This Week

Bigg Boss 17 is one of the most popular reality shows and fans loved it. Well, every week Salman Khan comes to give reality check to contestants. But this weekend it will be a little different as the actor is not expected to host the show. Karan Johar will be hosting the Weekend Ka Vaar this week. The makers have announced it on the social platform.

Bigg Boss wrote, “EXCLUSIVE & BREAKING! #BiggBoss_Tak  Salman Khan will not host #WeekendKaVaar this week Karan Johar to host Weekend ka Vaar this week as a proxy host.  #BiggBoss_Tak.” Karan Johar has earlier hosted Bigg Boss OTT. The reason has not been stated.

During the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss 17, Salman Khan schooled Vicky Jain and Munawar Faruqui. He accused the two of developing relations with their co-contestants only to be saved from nominations. Later, Ankita Lokhande also talked about the same to Vicky and explained that his actions were being misunderstood in the show.

“You and Munawar both were involved but you showed your brains that you are playing. Munawar didn’t show that and played sweetly,” Ankita told Vicky as quoted by Pinkvilla. She further argued that his bonds with other people in the Bigg Boss 17 house are “very strong” and therefore, he will stay in touch with them even after the show. However, Ankita also made it clear that if this happens, she will leave their home.

“Jis jis ne teri yeh bezzati ki hai, not for anything. It’s a game, I understand but mere ghar ye log nahi aayenge Vicky. Aur agar tu inko leke aaya na toh mei ghar chodd ke chali jaungi (People have insulted you not for anything but for the game and I understand. But these people will not come to my house Vicky. If they come, I will leave the house),” she said.
