Parth Samthaan To Play Lead Role In Annu Kapoor's Hamare Baarah? Here's What We Know

After a successful stint in television and OTT, Parth Samthaan is set to take on a captivating role in the upcoming film Hamare Baarah. While more details about the film have been kept under wraps, reports suggest that the film is slated to release on June 7 this year. Apart from Parth, veteran actor Annu Kapoor is playing the lead role in the film.

Parth Samthaan, known for his ability to capture the essence of every role he plays, is poised to leave an indelible mark with an outstanding performance in the highly anticipated film. As fans await more details about the role played by the actor, makers have released the poster of the film. The intriguing poster depicts women with stitched mouths and tied hands, further sparking curiosity among fans about the plot of the upcoming flick.

As for Hamare Baarah, the film was previously titled Hum Do Hamare Baarah. Later, CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) changed the title. The film, directed by Kamal Chandra, also features Ashwini Kalsekar, Rahul Bagga, Paritosh Tiwari, Manoj Joshi, debutant Aditi Bhatpahri and others in prominent roles.

Annu Kapoor, elated about the film, said in a media interaction, “Working on Humare Baraah has been an incredible journey for me. The film delves into some complex and sensitive topics, and I believe the new title aligns better with our storytelling. I’m excited for audiences to experience the heart and soul of this project on June 7th.”

Meanwhile, Parth Samthaan’s Bollywood debut has been due for a while now. The television star was supposed to embark on a film career with Googly Ho Gayi in 2016. However, it got shelved. Next, he was reported to star in Ghudchadi starring Raveena Tandon, Sanjay Dutt, and Khushalii Kumar in pivotal roles. The film was announced in 2022 and its filming was wrapped up early last year. Despite this, the film’s release was delayed. Reportedly, it will be arriving in theatres in June this year.

Parth last entertained his fans with an appearance in a music video titled Jiya Laage Na. The song marked his first collaboration with Bigg Boss fame Isha Malviya.
