98-Year-old Indian Grandfather's Reunion With Younger Brother from US Will Make You Smile
A 98-year-old Indian grandfather's reunion with younger brother from US will definitely melt your heart.

The bond between siblings is often considered as one of the most profound connections in life and the loss of that bond, whether through death or separation, can be an unimaginable pain for many. Recently, a man took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to narrate a heartwarming story of a remarkable bond between his 98-year-old nana (maternal grandfather) and his siblings.

The post features four beautiful pics of a 98-year-old man (maternal grandfather) and his younger brother. In one of the pics, grandfather can be seen posing with his younger brother. In the second, the two can be seen walking in the alley. In the third, they can be seen discussing something while looking at the photo wall. In the fourth, the younger brother can be seen praying in front of his sister-in-law’s (brother’s late wife) portrait who passed away last year.

The post is shared by an X user named Bhavik Saglani (@DoctorLFC). Sharing the post Bhavik wrote a long note, “My nana and his siblings were a team of 11! Only two of them are still alive. My nana is 98, and one of his younger brothers, who lives in the USA, is in his late 80s. He had come down to India to meet Nana recently. My Nana was the 1st from his family to go out of his village in Gujarat to Ahmedabad for studies in his teens and then to pre-independence Bombay for work when he was 20.”

Bhavik further narrated, “A few of his siblings followed him to Bombay in due course of time, and everyone who came to the city stayed at nana-nani’s house until they finished their education or got married or could buy their own house.” He also added, “We lost my nani last year, and she had done so much for my nana’s siblings, including his younger brother when he was studying and working in Bombay. But now, a photograph kept close to my nana’s work desk, and a lot of fond memories are all we have. In the end, Bhavik concluded with a message, “These are the stories that every family must preserve and cherish. Stories of love, family, help, and togetherness.”
