The process then involves a worker, who, without wearing gloves, mixes the batter by hand, dipping his hands till the elbows into the mixture. The video also depicts another worker standing barefoot in a large tub of the mixture while forming the chaap, and further, the batter is spread on the floor before being shaped into small balls on sticks. Later these balls were wrapped on a stick and given the shape of soya chaap.
