'Duct-Tape On Overhead Bin': Passenger Reveals Alarming Conditions On Pakistan International Airlines Flight
The man documented what he witnessed on "one of the most dangerous flights in the world" and the awful airline conditions in the video.

Since the 1950s, Pakistan has been represented internationally by the state-owned Pakistan International Airlines or PIA. More than nearly any other flag carrier, PIA has experienced three fatal crashes in the twenty-first century. In 2020, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) banned PIA from operating flights to Europe and the UK due to safety concerns and non-compliance with international aviation regulations. Now, in a video posted on Instagram, a man has detailed his experience of flying on the airline.

The man documented what he witnessed on “one of the most dangerous flights in the world” and the awful airline conditions in the video. In the caption of this video, he posed the question, “Would you fly on this route?” to his followers.

In the video, the user is seen boarding the aircraft and being informed right away by the cabin staff that video recording is not permitted. But as soon as he sits down, he reveals the broken seat handle, the duct-taped overhead bin and the empty spots filled with dust on the seat.

The man said in the video that their pilot interacted with the passengers and additionally provided them with details about Skardu city in Pakistan-administered Gilgit-Baltistan. “Pakistan has a troubled reputation in the world…It doesn’t help when your national carrier is also banned from an entire continent,” the caption read.

The man continued, saying that he made the decision to visit the northern areas by plane for the first time in more than ten years. He expressed excitement, saying it was something on his bucket list.

With more than a million views, users in the comments section were in for a hilarious response.

A user stated, “I take it back Air India! You guys are good!”

Another jokingly said, “PIA = Pray I Arrive.”

“Looks beautiful. The country. Not the plane lol,” read another comment.

An individual said, “Watching this clip and hearing what you said about the Airlines gave me heart palpitations. But no doubt about the beauty you witnessed and God bless you for the risk you took to see it.”

Yet another user said, “Why would you… awful airline.”

What's your reaction?
