American YouTuber MrBeast or Jimmy Donaldson, has easily become one of the most beloved YouTubers today, thanks to his slew of charitable projects. In 2020, Jimmy Donaldson started Beast Philanthropy, a charitable organisation that undertakes elaborate social work projects. Most recently, they shared a video in which Jimmy Donaldson detailed how they rebuilt an under-resourced Zambian village in Africa that had suffered major damage after a storm. They collaborated with Dora Moono Nyambo, a woman in Zambia who fosters 300 kids. They first found out about Dora Moono Nyambo’s work when she tagged them in a TikTok video.

A year ago, the Beast Philanthropy team worked with Dora and built a solar array that provided the village with electricity. A year later they once again got in touch with her and undertook more community projects. They repaired one of the kids’ dormitories that lost its roof following a massive storm. The Beast Philanthropy team and Dora then built a deep properly maintained well that ensured a steady supply of clean water. Together with CURE International, they treated a young girl named Beauty, who was suffering from gangrene before her situation could turn fatal.

To make sure that Dora and her foster kids do not have to rely on wood or charcoal to cook food, the charity gave them stoves. When Dora wrecked her car in an accident, Beast Philanthropy arranged a new car for her. Another long-term change created by Beast Philanthropy was installing a Starlink internet router that connected the village with reliable internet.

All of these milestones were documented in a 10-minute long video that was shared on YouTube on June 7. In the comments, many people showered praises on MrBeast and Dora for their work.

A YouTube user commented, “Crazy how a YouTuber is doing more to the people than their own governments and billionaires around the world. Glad Jimmy made it this far. We Made the right person famous. I remember the times when Jimmy used to count numbers and was talking about having a million subscribers. Now look at him now, going around the world helping entire villages and doing so much for the people. May we see the day Jimmy reaches a billion subscribers he deserves it the MOST!"

Another person observed, “I love the fact that he also employs people in the same country to do the job, also indirectly improving the standard of living for those builders and their children. You inspire me, man, may god bless you."
