The bizarre incident transpired during a tennis-ball tournament in India.

Tennis-ball cricket has been growing popular, especially after the emergence of social media. Many local cricketers have become quite famous in this circuit for their unorthodox batting style. One such player is now going viral for his hilarious antics before facing a delivery. The man turned the cricket pitch into a dance floor and was captured showing some impressive moves while batting. The bizarre incident transpired in a tennis-ball tournament somewhere in India.

We have seen batters with unconventional grips and bowlers with bowling action. But have you ever seen a cricketer twerking just before facing a ball? The batter, in the video, actually did that before smashing the ball out of the ground for a monstrous six. It, however, was not the end of the story.

Ahead of the next delivery, the man was seen resting the bat on his shoulder. Once the ball came into his zone, the batter swung his willow but failed to connect. He was successful in the following attempt and registered another giant six over the long on.

The video was dropped on X (formerly Twitter) by a page named Out of Context Cricket. Impressed by the batter’s dance moves, some viewers predicted that he might be a fan of Bollywood actress “Nora Fatehi.” One of them wrote in the comment section, “Nora Fatehi of cricket.”

Another user found the batter quite similar to Pakistan cricketer Azam Khan. “Azam Khan in a parallel universe,” he wrote.

Going by the player’s unorthodox shots, a fan drew comparisons with Indian batter Rishabh Pant.
