This 'Ex-girlfriend' Chaat Centre in Bengaluru is All You Need for a Post-breakup Pick-me-up
Viral post introducing Bengaluru's 'Ex-girlfriend' Chaat centre leaves netizens in a 'flavourful' laughter.

Dishing out quirky names to shops has been a time-honoured tradition, demanding a hearty dose of brainstorming for that perfect moniker. Yet, this task has taken on an extra layer of complexity with the growing competition to stay on-trend in the market. And just as a Chat GPT hotspot created a buzz on the internet previously, now comes ‘Ex-girlfriend’ Chaat Centre, poised to be your ultimate remedy for post-breakup blues.

Indeed, an ‘X’ user, Farrago Metiquirke, shared a snapshot of this uniquely-named Bengaluru establishment specialising in the renowned Bangarpet Chaat (or Panipuri, famous in the small town near Bengaluru). Here, the Paani is transparent instead of the traditional maroon or green chutney, making this dish truly stand out. The establishment proudly bears the name ‘Ex Girlfriend Bangarpete Chaat,’ dishing out an array of chaats that prompted the original poster to quip in the caption, “Looking to chat about your breakup? Fear no more.”

Take a Look:

In no time, the comments section lit up with one user jesting, “The place you don’t want to bump in if you’re with your gf.” Another chimed in, “The person sitting inside looks upset. Must be thinking about his ex.” The third speculated, “If that guy isn’t a customer then it’s an ex-couple sitting there…” The fourth playfully remarked, “100% sure the chats here are gonna taste salty.”

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first instance of a heartbreak-inspired establishment making waves. Previously, ‘M Bewafa Chaiwala’ garnered attention by launching a tea stall in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh after the founder, Antar Gujjar, faced rejection from his ex-girlfriend in response to a marriage proposal. Notably, Antar offers tea at different rates for different individuals. For couples, a cup of tea at ‘M Bewafa Chaiwala’ costs Rs 10, while the same tea is sold for only Rs 5 to those who are heartbroken or have been betrayed by their partners.

Truly, in the cutthroat world of quirky joints, the battle to stand out is like a spice-level challenge in a chaat—too much to handle!
