An American travel vlogger has sparked widespread attention with his latest video where he deliberately tries to get food poisoning by sampling the street food of Delhi. Previously, Colin caused a stir on social media with a similar stunt in Pakistan’s Lahore. Now, he has taken his controversial challenge to the national capital, trying various foods in his quest.
In Colin’s Instagram video, he begins with a bizarre declaration, “Eating street food until I get food poisoning. Currently, I am in New Delhi, India and I am going to be finding the weirdest things to eat and eating it. So, let’s go.”
His challenge kicks off with dal kachori which he finds delicious. As he navigates through the bustling streets of Delhi, he samples a samosa which he finds “really good” and even shares with a passerby. While exploring the historical landmarks of the national capital, he tries a chuski or ice and likens its taste to “freshly cut grass,” though he was unable to finish it.
Colin wraps the video with, “Well, I still do not have food poisoning because I am simply built different so the series will continue in India and I am very excited.”
The caption along the video read, “So happy to be back in India. The energy here is seriously unmatched. New Delhi has to be the most chaotic city I’ve ever explored. With a population of 33 million people it’s hard to escape the madness of people, and rickshaws flying past you all day long. Tho there is a few beautiful temples and parks to find some peace of mind. It’s actually my third time in New Delhi and each time it gets better. As you can see I’m always making new friends out here haha.”

A viewer pointed out, “Bro is going out and eating the most normal food he can find lol it’s fried food dipped in lentils and a slushie. Dude is never gonna get food poisoning (and that’s a good thing!). Now go to the Philippines and eat Balut.”
Someone else added, “You aren’t built differently! It’s Indian natural food without any American touch! This isn’t gonna hurt you! Stereotype dusted here!!”
One commenter pondered, “Ummm what if you’re actually puking all night in your hotel room but not filming it just so the series can continue ….”
Another person shared, “I don’t really think you can get food poisoning that easily…hard to believe any shop owner would use expired items.”
