To create the illusion that the chocolate soil is where the plant is growing, she finally inserts a leafy stem into the centre.

If you use social media, you may have come across a variety of odd or unusual cuisines people from all over the world eat. While some of us may never consider eating these items, others have been devotedly cherishing them and feel nothing strange about them. We seldom encounter a day without a culinary shocker, whether it’s frying watermelons or creating gulab jamun paratha. Recently, a video showed someone consuming a potted plant. Just when we thought we’d seen everything, there was a surprise twist–thankfully.

The vlogger is shown going outside and biting on what appears to be a potted plant. She takes a sizable chunk from the pot, which appears to be packed with dirt.

Nevertheless, she demonstrates in the last section of the video how she created this chocolate potted plant from scratch.

She starts by breaking up a large bar of chocolate into tiny pieces, which she then microwaves to melt. When finished, she fills a thermocol cup with melted chocolate.

She pours the chocolate into the pot using it as a mould, leaving it hollow in the middle despite the inside being completely coated.

To let the chocolate harden, she puts the cup in the refrigerator. Subsequently, she cuts the chocolate pot and removes away the cup.

She flips it onto a platter and uses cocoa powder to impart a rugged, organic muddy appearance.

She then opens a package of Oreos and separates the chocolate cookies from the white cream stuff in the middle.

She gathers the former in a sack and crushes them into a crumble that resembles soil.

She adds chocolate cake chunks to the chocolate pot and then sprinkles Oreo crumbs over top.

In order to create the illusion that the chocolate soil is where the plant is growing, she finally inserts a leafy stem into the centre.

The video has more than 55 million views on the social media platform.

In the comments section, Oreo cheekily wrote, “You ATE that.”

A user said, “I really thought she was eating dirt.”

Another user said, “You had us in the first half.”

What's your reaction?
