Viral Clip Shows Reckless Man Provoking Lion. Here's What Happened Next
The viral video shows a man moving towards a lion's cage and mimicking the beast's action and voice, provoking him.

Zoo enclosures issue warnings and instructions for people against teasing animals so that they can remain safe. Some people fail to follow these instructions and end up creating a nuisance in the enclosures. A video that went viral recently on social media proves this right. The viral video shows a man moving towards a lion’s cage and mimicking the beast’s action and voice, provoking him. The mighty beast, who has been sitting calmly in the cage till now, gets agitated, stands up and tries to attack the man. The lion even manages to attack the person’s head with its hand, leaving him in shock. It feels like he didn’t expect this response from the lion. Surprisingly, this man continues with his antics and keeps troubling the animal for no reason. The clip concludes with this person trying to touch the lion’s hand and the beast roaring at him. The location of the video is unknown.

A similar clip went viral in 2022 which is a stark reminder that people should not try to fool around the feral animals. The then-viral 15-second-long video was shared on Twitter on December 26. The footage captured a group of men fooling around near a lion’s cage. While one of them was busy poking his hands inside the cage, the other started petting the mighty beast, as if it were a domestic pet. The lions seemed unbothered at first, but things took an unexpected turn quickly. When one of the men tried petting the head of the lion, the wild beast rose from the ground and attacked him as if to bite off his finger. The man was quick to remove his hand from the cage, sensing trouble. Just by a stroke of good luck, he was able to save his fingers from getting crushed by the lion.

Soon after the video surfaced on the internet, several people were quick to criticise the foolishness of the men in the video. “Left hands are overrated. Might as well feed the lion this tasty five-finger snack!~Him. Probably,” wrote one sarcastically. “That is not a housecat,” criticised another.

The video is now not available on social media.
