Everything has a dark side, whether it’s a country, a state or any other place in the world. Japan, which is considered as one of the most developed and civilised countries, and unmatched in terms of technology, also has its darker aspects. Recently, a video has been posted by an Indian traveller on his social media account, showcasing the dark side of Japan. The travel vlogger and content creator has recently shared a video on Instagram which is quite surprising. In Shinjuku, a city in Japan, the clip shows how there are many homeless young men and women, who are involved in unlawful activities in order to earn money. There are also many objectionable hotels in that area. The person also mentioned the presence of love hotels, which can be visited by people on hourly visits. The influencer also mentioned that many people here in this area are involved in drug abuse, and can be seen lying on roads in the middle of the night.
The viral video was shared with the caption, “Dark side of Japan”. It has sparked curiosity among many viewers and has become a topic of discussion, but many are objecting to the need to make this video. The video has received 408 thousand views and is shared among 15.8 thousand people; 13.5 thousand people have liked the video and many people shared their feedback by commenting. Around 398 people have commented on the video. A user commented that every developed country has a dark side. Another user commented that he had also travelled to Japan once and it is a very safe country for people to live and travel, while another user has disputed the need to make this video. He claimed that every country has a dark side and questioned his reliance on the dark side of the country.
