In the video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by news agency ANI, Jyoti Amge can be seen with her family as they all came to cast their votes in Nagpur. As soon as she entered the school, the media surrounded her for pictures while she maintained a constant smile on her face and posed for the camera.

Speaking to the media stationed outside the polling booth, she said, “I would like to share that I have voted today with my entire family,” further appealing to others to also come forward and cast their votes.

Jyoti added that despite the scorching heat, she chose to come to vote. “I always come to vote in this school, the place where I completed my education. My teachers from school always come and meet me when I am here. My teachers have supported me just like my family.”

In the videos, Jyoti can be seen being carried by her family to avoid the huge crowd at the polling booth. She was seen dressed in a glowing red outfit with matching lipstick and trinkets on her fingers and wrists.

The model-actress also shared a picture of herself, showing her inked finger after casting her vote in Maharashtra’s Nagpur.
