A Chicago-based beautician is raising funds to replace her vehicle after the BMW she would drive was set on fire by one of her clients. Marcella Orr shared shocking footage on Instagram, where her car was seen in flames. Her car was set ablaze by a client who apparently was unable to secure an appointment. In the clip, an unnamed woman in a hoodie can be seen covering her vehicle with liquid before putting it on flames.
Additionally, Orr shared screenshots of text messages with the client which showed the client’s desperation for an appointment after a month-long wait for eyelash services. Although Orr claimed she wouldn’t be able to accommodate her due to prior appointments, the situation escalated dramatically.
According to the text, Orr had already scheduled an appointment for the client on the 26th, but the client did not respond. Two days later, on the 28th, the client asked if she could get the appointment for the next day or the same night. However, Orr declined the request as she already had five back to back appointments scheduled. The client even showed up outside the studio and repeatedly asked for the service. Orr took the time to politely refuse the request and focused on her existing customers.
After numerous texts, the client started talking to Marcella Orr in a derogatory manner and wrote, “Cella. Don’t piss me off tonight. You gone be pissed too. WTF is wrong with you when it come to me. B***h if you don’t never wanna do my s**t again say that b***h I just went month without lashes I can go more you weird as f***k. You got some you wanna get off your chest b***h. On LAWRIEL everytime it’s time to do my lashes you do some lame a** s**t b**h. You just came back saying you sorry. How you not gone move like this again and here you go again.”
Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “So sis that blew up this lady car is now facing jail time and losing her child, over some lashes and a missed appointment. This generation WILD AF.”
Another shared, “That was deeper than some lashes and it sounded like strong animosity.”
“If she did this over lashes, imagine what she would do about her man,” a comment read.
An individual noted, “Crashing out over some lashes is insane. These people have NOTHING to lose.”
Another said, “This is insane.”
One more added, “No sane adult would blow peoples cars up and commit arson anytime they don’t get their way. Be adults. Simply go to another lash tech. Just insanely erratic & unhinged behaviour for any adult. Even with mental issues. This is unacceptable.”
Following the disturbing incident, Marcella Orr started a Go Fund Me campaign for her lost car. Her goal is to raise $50,000 (approximately Rs 41 lakh) and so far, she has collected $1,560 (approximately Rs 1 Lakh) from 71 donations.
