Most of us, at some time in our lives, have experienced a disturbed sleep cycle, sleep deprivation, or some kind of sleep disturbance caused by numerous physical or mental discomforts. At that time, our mind often tends to wonder what would happen if we do not sleep for a long time. Well, this 21-year-old YouTuber might have the correct answers to these questions. Joe Fazer, a health and fitness influencer recently uploaded a video on his channel in which he attempted the ‘No sleep’ challenge. “I Attempted To See How Long I Could Go Without Sleep," says the man.
“This is definitely a challenge I would not recommend you try," Joe warned his audience. During his experiment, Joe also admitted that he was starting to get tired after 22 hours. However, he says that the initial 18 hours were alright and “relatively fine" for him.
At the one-hour point, Joe consumed his initial dose of caffeine. After taking a single drink of his coffee, the fitness influencer confidently declared to the viewers, “You know what, boys? The caffeine gave me just the boost I needed. “Forget it! We’re going to crush this obstacle!"
Then, after a little while, he was completely exhausted from 29 hours of staying awake and decided to refresh himself with a chilly shower. “It was effective, despite how awful it was!" “I am feeling more alert," Joe remarked.
By the 30-hour mark, the YouTuber had reached a “new high of energy" and had opted to “smash a workout," revealing, “No exaggeration, at this point in the challenge, I didn’t feel tired at all." ‘Alright,’ Joe reported by hour 33. “Started off fine, then extremely tired and now I feel OK." he continued, explaining the stages of his exhaustion.
After that, he went out for lunch and a club in the hopes that they would energise him. “I had never wanted to leave a place so badly," Joe said. At 36 hours, he had his second cup of coffee, but he ‘fell out’ a few hours after that.
“I pushed on for as long as I could muster, but I took a mental break and, well, I’m sure you can guess what happened next. I just passed out," says Joe.
In total, Joe claims he managed to stay awake for 42 hours and 22 minutes.

A commenter on YouTube wrote, “Sleep is so easily underestimated." Going this long without sleep really emphasises how crucial it is," remarked another. A good night’s sleep is among the most self-care-promoting actions you can take. “Feel better physically and mentally as opposed to getting bad sleep." “The importance of sleep to the body is truly remarkable," remarked a user. “You guys stayed longer than I would’ve," mentioned another.
“Wow, you were up all night!" chimed in a social media buff, and a user echoed, “That was absolutely brutal!" Haha, I’m thinking I’ll pass on this challenge. You guys rocked it!
