Jacinda Ardern: This 40th prime minister of New Zealand has been creating quite a buzz with her exceptional leadership skills. She was the world’s youngest head of state in 2017. Exuding confidence, intelligence, Jacinda has proved to be an inspiration to all women.

Kamala Harris: Taking the world by storm, the current Vice President of the US has been the epitome of women emancipation, the face of change, the ultimate inspiration for all girl children and women out there.Her ascension in the political rung has catapulted her to the position of world’s most powerful women’s list.

Angela Merkel: Recipient of Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding along with a string of foreign awards, Angela Merkel has been the brightest star donning the list of World’s Most Powerful Women around the world. Leader of the European Union, she has been at the top position wielding power by assuming the post of Chancellor of Germany.

Mary Teresa Barra: She is the first female CEO of a prominent automobile company. General Motors’ CEO, Mary has turned out to be the embodiment of women empowerment. She featured in the 35th position in Forbes Most Powerful Women’s list in 2013 and moved up her way to the 4th position on the same list in 2018.

Susan Wojcicki: To become Google’s first marketing manager in 1999, Susan Wojcicki has been the CEO of YouTube since 2014.Ranked 6th in Forbes list of World’s 100 Most Powerful Women in 2017, she has been an inspiration. She secured 10th position in 2018’s Forbes list of Most Powerful Women.

Nirmala Sitharaman: Making all the women around the world proud, Nirmala Sitharaman, India’s Finance Minister has made it to the list of Forbes’ 100 most powerful women list. She is ranked 41st on the list twice in a row.

Sheikh Hasina:Another exceptional powerful figure at the helm of political power would be Sheikh Hasina of Bangladesh. Serving two terms as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh from 1996-2001 and again from 2009 till date, this woman has been an epitome of women empowerment.

Folorunso Alakija: Billionaire businesswoman ranked as one of the richest women in Nigeria, Alakija has given the world yet another exemplary idol to follow, through her immense achievements. She was listed as one of World’s Most Powerful Women in 2014 by Forbes. From 96th position she climbed 86th position in 2015 in the prestigious Forbes list.
