The IDF captured the underground complex late last week near the international border after a Hezbollah fighter was located hiding inside the bunker

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has uncovered an underground Hezbollah bunker in a village in Lebanon stocked with weapons and motorcycles meant for “a larger scale of a massacre in Israel than October 7”.

Israel Defense Force spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said in a video tour of the tunnel that the Israeli military located the subterranean terrorist command centre in southern Lebanon, with the base stretching across nearly half a mile of land.

Inside the bunker, the IDF soldiers found helicopter missiles, mortar shells, files, ammunition, motorcycles, and enough food and supplies to last for days for Hezbollah’s elite Radwan troops as they allegedly prepared for operation “Conquer the Galilee.”

The IDF captured the underground complex late last week near the international border after a Hezbollah fighter was located hiding inside the bunker.

The terrorist was killed by the Israeli Air Force, with ground troops from the Reserve Brigade then infiltrating the base and finding the supplies being readied for Hezbollah’s top fighters.

“They had motorcycles ready to go and hide in Israeli villages to conduct a massacre. They were here a few hours ago. We found fresh coffee and food. We need to go for strict vigilance,” Hagari said.

The video tour comes at a time when Hezbollah and Israel are engaging in cross-firing. Hezbollah and Israel have been foes for decades, exchanging fire since the Iran-backed group opened a front last year in support of its Palestinian ally Hamas after the October 7 attack on Israel.
