UK YouTuber Miles Routledge who had come under controversy for his racist comments against India and Africa, has now claimed that he will drop a nuclear bomb on anyone who interferes in Britain’s interests and affairs, even jokingly suggesting that he might even drop one on India.
Routledge made this claim through a meme video posted on ‘X’ which purportedly shows nuclear missiles coming out of a hidden silo in the US provoking nuclear war around the world.
“When I become prime minister of England, I’ll open the nuclear silos as an explicit warning to any foreign power that interferes with British interests and affairs. I’m not talking huge incidents, I’m itching to launch and atomize entire nations over the smallest infraction,” he said on ‘X’.
Known in social media by the name of Lord Miles, Routledge boasts more than 126,000 subscribers. Routledge was trapped in Afghanistan during the Taliban takeover of the country in 2021 during which he first came into the limelight.
During his third trip to Afghanistan in 2023, Routledge was detained by Taliban intelligence for eight months. This YouTuber described his experience saying that it was his ‘most enjoyable vacation’.
A few months earlier, Routledge took a dig at India and Africa over the alleged problem of “overpopulation” thereby inviting the ire of Indians.
“If I was reincarnated, I would like to return as a virus to contribute to humanity by solving the overpopulation in India and Africa,” he had said in a post in April.
Adding to the controversy, Routledge mocked the Indian accent in a post saying, “Saar okay lord saar good luck saar haha saar.” This came in response to a post in which Routledge shared a chat with another ‘X’ user, where he wrote, “Indian threatens to find me, it backfires lmao.”
