The Judgment Day suffered two losses in singles matches, as JD McDonagh lost during the kickoff match and Damian Priest was defeated by Cody Rhodes.

All of the other respective champions including the likes of Seth Rollins, Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley and Roman Reigns were all able to retain their belts.

Let us take a look at all that transpired during the evening and delve into the results of the matches:

Sami Zayn vs. JD McDonagh

The kickoff match was a chance for both wrestlers to set the stage for the event and to showcase their talents.

Zayn, a seemingly crowd favorite, controlled the pace of the match for the most part and finally, The Underdog From the Underground was able to pin McDonagh with a huge Blue Thunder Bomb to clinch the win.

Result: Sami Zayn def. JD McDonagh

Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre (World Heavyweight Championship)

This was McIntyre’s chance to right his wrongs, to take back the throne and restore his dominance. And he went into the bout, guns blazing, as he ensured a beat-down of Seth Rollins for most of the bout.

Rollins though was no chump, and his shrewdness and willpower enabled him to finally take control and defeat The Scot as he delivered a superkick, a Pedigree and a Stomp for The Visionary to put down McIntyre and claim the win.

Another noteworthy incident was Priest coming out to cash in his Money In The Bank contract, but Zayn interrupted and ambushed him.

Result: Seth Rollins def. Drew McIntyre

Ripley vs. Jax vs. Stark vs. Rodriguez vs. Baszler (Women’s World Title)

Jax immediately booked it out of the ring knowing that she had issues with every superstar in the match. But after a chaotic brawl amongst the remaining superstars ensued, they came together to take Jax out of the equation before they resumed their own brawl.

Baszler had the most amusing moment of the match. The UFC veteran locked Ripley and Rodriguez into ankle locks with her own legs while choking out Jax. But, ultimately despite all the chaos, Ripley reigned supreme and hit the Riptide to retain her title.

Result: Ripley def. Jax, Baszler, Stark and Rodriguez (via pinning Baszler)

John Cena vs. Solo Sikoa

This was the biggest match of Sikoa’s career. Facing off against a mammoth of the WWE, an undisputable legend of the sport. The crowd obviously were swaying in Cena’s favour, but Sikoa impressed all.

Cena held momentum early on, as he slid and escaped multiple Samoan Strikes from the monstrous Sikoa, but could never really get any of his moves going.

Finally though, Sikoa caught hold of Cena and delivered four Samoan Spikes to pin and gather the biggest win of his career so far.

Result: Sikoa def. Cena

Rey Mysterio vs. Logan Paul (United States Championship)

Arguably the biggest shock of the night that ensued. When it boils down to the nitty gritty, Mysterio reigns supreme over Paul in every regard. What Paul lacks in experience and skill, he makes up for with his daring nature and willingness to try out the most ridiculous spots.

Mysterio was in total control of the entire bout, but a shrewd Paul used a set of brass knuckles to hit his Knockout Punch and score the win to become the new United States champion.

Result: Logan Paul def. Rey Mysterio to become the new United States champion.

Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair (WWE Women’s Title)

A motivated Belair was trying to win early and was already scoring two-counts a minute into the match. She had the power advantage and was looking to use it at every opportunity. But, Sky was shrewdly attacking Belair’s knee to weaken her and exploit the window.

Following multiple interruptions from Bayley and a surprise comeback from Kairi Sane, Sky got the pin on Belair after Kairi Sane showed up out of nowhere and took out Belair.

Result: Iyo Sky def. Bianca Belair

Damian Priest vs. Cody Rhodes

Since Zayn still had the MITB briefcase in his possession, Priest showed up for his match with Rhodes carrying only his tag title belts.

Both wrestlers took the fight to each other and even out of the ring as an aggravated Archer of Infamy was taking out all his frustrations on The American Nightmare at every turn. Rhodes though turned the tie around and regained control quickly.

A notbale incident was when Finn Balor came to ringside and distracted the ref so McDonagh could help Priest. Jey Uso showed up to take out the rest of The Judgment Day and drive them away with a chair.

At the end of the day, Rhodes picked up the win as he hit Priest with three Cross Rhodes in a row and pinned him.

Result: Cody Rhodes def. Damian Priest

Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight (Universal Championship)

The main event of the pay-per-view saw Reigns defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against the red-hot Knight.

The crowd was understandably heavily in favor of The Megastar and chanted his name as the two men stood in the ring for the official introductions.

The match was a constant back-and-forth trade of shots and moves. Reigns got the upper hand initially, before Knight turned it around.

As one would expect, interruptions from The Bloodline ensued as Sikoa and Uso kept Knight distracted at every opportune moment to keep Reigns in the contest.

Ultimately, Reigns speared Knight through the barricade before bringing him back into the ring for another Spear to get the win and retain the title.

Result: Roman Reigns def. LA Knight
