The Japanese automaker made all the right waves when they launched the Ninja H2, given what the bike was capable of in terms of performance and especially, because of the way it looked. Now, Kawasaki has unveiled the 2017 model of the Ninja H2 and H2R at the 2016 Intermot, being held in Cologne, Germany.

The bike, which has earned itself a reputation for being one of the best performers, has received a few updates. The biggest one being the inclusion of Ohlins TTX monoshock at the back, which would result in a better ride quality and high-speed stability as it is fully adjustable for rebound and compression. That's not it, though, it has been fitted with "Bank Angle Display", which shows the lean angle achieved by the rider in real-time and the quickshifter will now also act as an auto-blipper for quicker and seamless gearshifts. The engine's power figures stay the same, but it is now Euro 4 emission norm compliant.

The company also showcased a limited-edition H2 which is called – Ninja H2 Carbon Edition. This edition will be limited to just 120 units.

Other than the H2, Kawasaki unveiled the refreshed Ninja 650 which gets a new trellis style and a reworked twin-cylinder water-cooled engine along with the "Bank Angle Display". Kawasaki also presented a new 2017 version of the Z1000SX at the Cologne show. The brand's new motorcycle offers smoother acceleration, more rider protection thanks to a wider cowling and higher screen, and increased comfort thanks to the improved rider and passenger seating. Revised suspension, LED headlamps and an adjustable gear shift light enhance its sporting prowess.

A special model focused on motorcycle racing – the Ninja ZX-10RR – completes the Kawasaki line-up for Intermot 2016.
