In addition to the electric model, the new design will also be the first ever car to become available in three power options, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid.

Set to launch in 2016, the Hyundai Ioniq is Hyundai Motor's first all-electric vehicle.

In addition to the electric model, the new design will also be the first ever car to become available in three power options, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid.

Each model possesses the same body and is equipped with lithium-ion batteries.

Named after a combination of the words '‘ion' and 'unique,', the Hyundai Ioniq will premiere in Korea in January and will be revealed both at the Geneva International Motor Show and the New York Auto Show in March 2016.
