Apart from Prabhu Deva, the film will boast an ensemble cast of Madonna Sebastian, Abhirami, Yogi Babu, and Redin Kingsley among a few others.

Prabhu Deva’s exceptional dancing skills need no introduction. While he is loved by the masses for his acting, direction and dance, none of us would have imagined him playing a dead body in a film. However, brace yourself to witness the most captivating role played by the ABCD actor for which he will be collaborating with the director Sakthi Chidambaram. This will be Prabhu’s third outing with the director after Charlie Chaplin (2002) and Charlie Chaplin 2 (2019).

The yet-to-be-titled film is grabbing the attention of all for its unique plot. The film, headlined by Prabhu Deva, will feature him playing a dead body throughout the film. Sakthi Chidambaram, the director of the film, while speaking to The New Indian Express, said, “A Tenkasi-based family finds a dead person, and is forced to go on a journey that makes them reach Kodaikanal. How the family struggles with this unprecedented situation and goes to all lengths to give him a proper farewell will form the rest of the story.”

The film will be a dark comedy that will take the audience for a fun-filled ride. Reflecting on the hard work behind the film, Chidambaram said that he had worked on the story for three years and added that it is inspired by true events. He revealed that the story of the film is in resemblance to an incident that a friend from his hometown of Sattur near Virudhunagar shared with him. Speaking about why he chose Prabhu Deva as the main lead for the film, he explained that the actor is very flexible with his body.

The director added, “It is extremely difficult to play a dead person. He needs to hold his breath for a long duration, not blink his eyes or move his body. The role is not as easy as it sounds. Remember Nagesh sir from Magalir Mattum? I envisioned such a character who is not playing a dead person for 15 minutes but for the entire film.”

Apart from Prabhu Deva, the film will boast an ensemble cast of Madonna Sebastian, Abhirami, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Robo Shankar, John Vijay, Sai Dheena, Madhusudhan Rao and Yashika Aanand.
