Aishwarya Rai Bachchan took to her social media to remember her father on his death anniversary. She also shared photographs with her daughter, Aaradhya, and mother as they paid homage to Krishnaraj Rai, who passed away in 2017.
Aishwarya Rai wrote, “Love you eternally, dearest darling Daddy-Ajjaaa Thank you for all your Blessings.” In the photos, we can see little Aaradhya planting a sweet kiss on the cheeks of her grandfather. And in another, the actress, her daughter, and her mother are seen taking a selfie with the photo frame of her late father.

Recently, on the wedding anniversary of her parents, Aishwarya also shared some old and priceless images of her parents together. She penned in her post, “Love you eternally, dearest darling Mommy-Doddaaa and Daddy-Ajjaaa. Much prayers and Love on your Anniversary God Bless.”
On the work front, Aishwarya was last seen in the historical action drama Ponniyin Selvan: II, directed by Mani Ratnam. The magnum opus has an ensemble cast including Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, R Sarathkumar, Jayaram, Prabhu, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vikram Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Rahman, and R. Parthiban. The project was produced by Madras Talkies in collaboration with Subaskaran Allirajah’s Lyca Productions. It is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s outstanding novel of the same name.
The story of the film explores the relationship between Aaditha Karikalan (Vikram) and Nandini (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) and also shows the ongoing power struggle over succession for the Chola dynasty. The second part also focuses on Arulmozhi Varman (Jayam Ravi) transformation into Rajaraja I, who was known as the revered king of the Chola dynasty.
