IRCTC Starts Special Train From Bihar's Bettiah To Holy Cities. Deets Inside
The IRCTC has introduced this scheme as part of the 'dekho apna desh' initiative.

Devotees from the state of Bihar are in for some good news. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched an affordable package for visiting 5 Jyotirlingas along with Shirdi Sai Baba. In this package, you will get a chance to travel by Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train.

The package is for 10 nights and 11 days. The journey is scheduled to start from Bettiah, a city located in Bihar, on August 24 and will return to Bettiah on September 3. During this period, passengers will have the convenience of boarding or disembarking at various stations along the route. These stations include Sagauli, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, Ara, Buxar, Dildarnagar, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay, in addition to Bettiah railway station itself.

According to Rajesh Kumar, the Patna Joint General Manager of IRCTC, the IRCTC has introduced this scheme as part of the ‘dekho apna desh’ initiative aimed at promoting tourism via railways. The special train will feature 3AC and sleeper coaches, with the railway setting the package prices at Rs 35,795 per person for 3AC and Rs 20,899 per person for sleeper class. These prices cover the comprehensive tour package, inclusive of hotel accommodations, breakfast, meals, sightseeing via bus, and other associated carriage charges.
