Markets rangebound: Metals & oil up
Metal, oil and capital goods stocks have spurted up while technology, banking, auto, and some pharma and FMCG stocks have plummeted.

New Delhi: The market is witnessing rangebound trade. At 11 am, the Sensex is up 11.61 points at 11674.16. It has touched an intraday high of 11,702.77 and an intraday low of 11,593.71.

The Nifty is down 3.50 points at 3474.95.The CNX Midcap is up 29 points at 5004.75.

The market breadth is positive, about 1323 shares have advanced, 636 shares declined, and 60 shares are unchanged.

Experts believe that the Sensex may show a sideways or slightly declining kind of movement today.

Hindalco, Tata Power, ACC, Reliance, NTPC, Nalco and GSK Pharma are the biggest gainers on the indices.

Hero Honda, Tata Chemicals, Wipro, Cipla, TCS and HDFC Bank are the top losers on the indices.

Buying is seen in metal, oil and capital goods stocks.

However, technology, banking, auto, and some pharma and FMCG stocks have plummeted.
