Punj Lloyd wins $290.5 mn Libyan order

Mumbai: Indian construction firm Punj Lloyd Ltd said on Monday it had got a pipeline order from Libya's Sirte Oil Company worth Rs 13.48 billion ($290.5 million).

The order comprises construction of two pipelines in the African nation, the company said in a statement.

Shares in Punj Lloyd climbed 4 per cent to Rs 765 in a flat Mumbai market.

On Thursday, the company had won a $177 million contract to build a 500 megawatt thermal power station in Rajasthan.
