Warner retired from the longest format following the Test series against Pakistan and also One Day Internationals. The ‘Bull’ will now represent Australia only in T20Is as he prepares for the upcoming IPL 2024 and the T20 World Cup.
Australia will be relying on Warner to be in his best form once again ahead of the marquee tournament. He has delivered a strong start scoring 12 boundaries and a maximum in his innings of 70 runs in the first game of the three-match T20I series against the West Indies.
