Another day, another milestone for RR’s spinster Yuzvendra Chahal, who plays his 150th IPL match, as he takes on the Gujarat Titans in Jaipur today.

“We are super proud of you and the way you have contributed all these years, to your previous teams and now to Rajasthan Royals. I am sure even they are super proud of how you play your game and every time you come back with a bang. We all love you for that,” cheered Dhanashree in the video posted by Rajasthan Royals on X.

Chahal’s temperament led to making him one of the best bowlers under in the death, an area the spinster went on to relish and flourish in.

His clinicality and efficiency needed to be doubted. In fact, Chahal is also RCB’s leading wicket-taker, having scalped 139 wickets in just 113 games, and is also the only bowler in IPL history to have taken 100 or more wickets for one franchise.

But change enters all our lives and it sure did for Chahal when RCB released him after the 2021 season. So, IPL 2022 marked Chahal’s debut for RR.

His chapter in RR so far has only turned out to be yet another feather to be added in his cap, as Chahal bagged the purple cap in the 2022 season, claiming 27 wickets at 19.52. He was also their highest wicket-taker last year as well, bagging 21 wickets at 20.57.

He also is now RR’s leading wicket-taker so far this season, with 8 scalps and remains in the race for the Purple Cap once again.

“Yuzi, just be who you are, and believe in your craft and your skill set. We all are there to support you always. I am your biggest cheerleader and I will always support you 100 percent. So, please go ahead and enjoy today’s match,” stated a proud Dhanashree.
