India's T20 World Cup 2024 Jersey Leaked? Photo of Newly-Designed Outfit Goes Viral on Social Media

The anticipation about India’s T20 World Cup squad kept the fans busy with the guessing game. Now that the list of 15 players is officially out, a fresh discussion seems to be taking centre stage – Team India’s outfit for the showpiece event in the West.

Ever since the BCCI got Adidas on board as the official kit sponsor, the Indian players have been sporting differently designed outfits across the two white-ball formats. The ODI jersey has a collared t-shirt with the traditional ikat pattern that adorns the fabric and brings to life the tiger’s stripes.

Whereas the T20 kit has the shades of the Ashok Chakra of the Indian tricolour and is round-collared. Both of them have stripes on the shoulder, each one of them symbolizing the indomitable spirit, one that makes you believe “impossible is nothing.”

The ODI World Cup 2023 saw Rohit Sharma & Co. wearing the tri-coloured stripes on their shirts throughout their campaign in the showpiece event. However, the kits for the upcoming tournament in the West Indies and the US are yet to be unveiled.

But on Sunday, a picture took social media by storm which shows a brand-new design of India’s T20I jersey. The netizens have been sharing it on their walls, suggesting it could be the outfit that Rohit Sharma & Co shall sport in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

As seen in the photo, there are tri-coloured stripes on its V-shaped neck and saffron sleeves with the trademark Adidas stripes.
