The third ODI between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe is slated to be hosted at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on January 11.
The previous match turned out to be a gripping affair where Zimbabwe batted first and posted 208 runs on the board. Captain Craig Ervine was the top scorer for the visitors, registering 82 runs off 102 balls. For Sri Lanka, spinner Maheesh Theekshana claimed a four-wicket haul.
Coming to chase, the hosts failed to make a desired start as they lost three wickets during the first 15 overs. Following the early collapse, Janith Liyanage took over the charge and went on to score 95 runs off 127 balls. Riding on his composed knock, Sri Lanka reached the target in 49 overs with two wickets in hand.
