The West Indies fast-bowler had a brilliant performance in Australia, picking up seven wickets to secure a historic win for his side at the Gabba for the second Test. The pacer was in the spotlight after the win having only made his Test debut in the previous game.
Joseph received his debut cap from the legendary Brian Lara ahead of the Adelaide Test and made a statement in his opening over as he took down Aussie vice-captain Steve Smith on the very first ball.
This will mark Joseph’s first stint in the IPL. He however will look to recover in time for the tournament having picked up a toe injury when batting in the second Test due to a lethal yorker by Australia’s Michell Starc. The injury had also forced the pacer to opt out of the ILT20 where he represented the Dubai Capitals.

The 24-year-old will prove to be an interesting addition to the LSG squad and will be looking to get some game time as he will be looking to prepare himself by going against the best the league has to offer and preparing himself for the T20 World Cup 2024.
