The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) released the names of toppers as well as the pass percentages of the BSEB Class 12 Result on March 23. This year, the BSEB Intermediate 2024 results for the Science, Arts, and Commerce were declared together. The overall pass percentage for the Science, Arts, and Commerce results is 87.21 per cent. In 2024, a total of 11,26,439 candidates passed the BSEB inter examination. In the arts stream, 86.15 per cent cleared the exam, 94.88 per cent in commerce, and 87.80 per cent in science.
According to the Science Toppers list, Mritunjay Kumar ranked first in the state with 96.2 per cent. Meanwhile, Prince Raj of Vaishali district ranked fifth in the Science stream, making his little community proud. He secured 94.80 per cent in the Bihar Board 12th result. Prince Raj’s commitment and hard work brought happiness as well as honour to the district.
When the Intermediate results were announced, there was a wave of happiness in the Vaishali district, when Prince Raj, son of farmer Rajesh Kumar Singh of Chamarhara village, Mehnar, came fifth. His family was overjoyed after Prince shared the news.
Prince Raj studies at Jagdish Senior Secondary School in Chamarhara. According to Local18, he used to attend coaching classes after school, then return home and do self-study. Prince informed Local18 that he wants to be an engineer in the future and has begun preparations for that. Prince admitted that he had never considered making the top five. However, it was believed that the outcome would be better.
Prince stated that the family members are equally pleased with this accomplishment. Furthermore, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Prince’s father, said that the family earns a living through farming. Despite his financial difficulties, he never allowed anything to stand in the way of his son’s educational opportunities.
Prince’s father also stated that while he could not become anything, he did hope to make his son someone that he would be proud of. He further explained that as he worked in the fields all day, he used to urge Prince to perform better and make the family proud of him. “We are happy that Prince has brought glory to the entire Bihar including Vaishali. There will never be any hindrance in Prince’s studies,” Rajesh Kumar Singh, Prince’s father told Local18.
