The Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has deferred the deadline for online registration for the IBPS Clerk 2024 exam. Those who have yet to fill out the IBPS Clerk 2024 application form can now register for the examination by visiting the official website at ibps.in. As per the official schedule, the last date to fill out the IBPS clerk 2024 registration form is July 28, 2024.
Earlier, the deadline for online registration was July 21. The IBPS clerk 2024 prelims exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 24, 25, and 31. The institute is likely to issue the admit cards for the IBPS Clerk exam 2024 a few days before the examination.
“All other terms and conditions, as mentioned in the detailed notification dated July 1, 2024, remain unchanged. The corrigendum, if any, on this notification will be issued only on the authorised IBPS website, www.ibps.in,” the official notice read.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be at least 20 years old and no older than 28 years old on July 1, 2024, to be eligible for clerk recruitment. This means they should have been born between July 2, 1996, and July 1, 2004.
Talking about educational qualifications, candidates have a passing degree from a recognised university. They must also have a basic understanding of computers and Internet applications.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Candidates must log in to IBPS’s official website at ibps.in.
Step 2: Search for and click on the registration link available for IBPS Clerk on the homepage.
Step 3: A new page will open where candidates will have to fill out the IBPS registration form.
Step 4: Fill in the essential details, such as academic and personal details.
Step 5: Then, scan and upload your photograph and signature in the size and format mentioned.
Step 6: Once done, pay the prescribed registration fee and click on the submit button.
Step 7: Save a copy of your application and take a printout of it for future reference.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024: Application Fees
Candidates falling under the scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), ex-servicemen (ESM), persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD), and dependents of ex-servicemen (DESM) categories will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 175, while all other candidates will have to pay Rs 850.
The Institute of Banking Personnel is conducting this recruitment drive to fill a total of 6,128 vacancies for Clerical Cadre posts.
