NIFT 2024: Candidates will need to provide their application number and date of birth to obtain the exam city intimation slip at exams.nta.ac.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the city notification slip for the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) 2024. Candidates who would take the examination can obtain the city intimation slip from the official website, exams.nta.ac.in. According to the official notification, the NIFT 2024 examination will be conducted on February 5. Candidates will need to provide their application number and date of birth to obtain the city slip.

NIFT 2024 City Intimation Slip: How to Download

Step 1: Visit the official website, exams.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click “NIFT 2024 City Intimation Window Open (Click Here)”

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen with the NIFT 2024 City Intimation.

Step 4: Download the NIFT 2024 city intimation slip.

Step 5: Take a print of the NIFT 2024 City Intimation Slip for future reference.

The allotted exam centre details will be included in the NIFT 2024 city intimation slip. The authorities will soon release the NIFT admit card 2024 on the official website. The exam will consist of two sections: the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test. Unlike the GAT, which will be totally online, the NIFT 2024 CAT will be administered on paper.

To be eligible for the B.Des and B.tech courses under NIFT, candidates must have completed the 10+2 exam or its equivalent from a certified board or institution. Candidates for M.Des and M.F.Tech programmes, on the other hand, must hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in the relevant field. Candidates for M.F.M. programmes must hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in any subject.

The maximum age limit for Bachelor’s courses (B.Des and B.F.Tech) has been set at 23 years old as of August 1, 2024. Candidates from the SC, ST, or PWD categories may be eligible for a five-year waiver of the maximum age limit. There is no upper age limit for applicants to the M.Des, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses.

Registrations for the NIFT 2024 exam closed on January 3. The application fee for Open/Open-EWS/OBC(NCL) applicants was Rs 3000 each. Similarly, the application fee was Rs 1500 for SC/ST/PWD applicants. The application cost for Open/Open-EWS/OBC (NCL) applicants who applied for B.Des and B.F.Tech courses were Rs 4500. Applicants for the B.Des and B.F.Tech courses that were under the SC, ST, or PwD category had to pay an application fee of Rs 2,500.
