The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will conclude the application process for group 2 combined civil services test 2024 today, July 19. Candidates who still have not applied for the exam can apply now at tnpsc.gov.in — TNPSC’s official website. The exam will be held on September 14, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
According to the commission, 2,327 positions for assistant inspectors, deputy commercial tax officers, special assistants, assistant section officers, audit inspectors, and other positions are available for candidates. Of the total number of positions, 1,820 are designated for group 2A positions and 507 are reserved for group 2 postings.
TNPSC Group 2 Registration 2024: Documents Required
As instructed in the application, candidates must upload specific documents when completing the form. Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents including mark sheets of class 10 and 12 and graduation, candidates’ passport-size photo, and signature and valid ID proof.
TNPSC Group 2 Registration 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Go to TNPSC’s official website tnpsc.gov.in or tnpscexams.in.
Step 2: New user candidates must first complete a one-time registration by paying a fee of Rs 150.
Step 3: Upon completing the registration process via email or a phone number, candidates will receive a password and registration ID on their email address.
Step 4: Enter your password and registration ID to log in.
Step 5: Now enter your personal and academic information.
Step 6: Attach the required documents and scanned photos to the application.
Step 7: Now pay Rs 100 preliminary examination fee.
Step 8: Click on ‘Save and Continue’ and submit your application.
Step 9: Save the application page for later use.
TNPSC Group 2 Registration 2024: Application Correction
All information in the online application may be edited by candidates up until the deadline for submission. Before submitting the form, applicants should use the application’s edit feature to re-upload and save any changes they may have made to their signature or photo. A portion of the data is transferred from the candidate’s first registration. Candidates should choose the edit profile option in One Time Registration (OTR) and make the required changes to update this information.
TNPSC Group 2 Exam: Application Fees
The TNPSC group 2 application form can be completed by qualified applicants by going to tnpsc.gov.in, the official website. Those interested in participating in the TNPSC group 2 preliminary examination must submit an application fee of Rs 100. If, based on the preliminary exam results, candidates who have not got a fee exemption are selected for the main written exam, they will have to pay an extra Rs 150 for the exam.
The TNPSC Group 2 selection procedure consists of three phases including Preliminary, mains, and oral exams. The written preliminary exam will be based on objective questions. Those who pass the preliminary exam will be able to take the main exam, which is a descriptive written exam. Those who make it through the main exam must subsequently show up for an interview or oral exam.
