Ankita Lokhande to Follow Alia Bhatt's Footsteps When She Has Kids: ‘Bachche Toh Honge Hi' | Exclusive
Ankita Lokhande Jain reveals AnVi Ki Rasleela was born out of her desire to preserve videos for her future kids. She also spills beans on embracing motherhood.

After a two-year friendship, Ankita Lokhande Jain and Vicky Jain began dating in 2018. And in April 2021, the couple tied the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony in Mumbai. The actor has often expressed her desire to become a mother and according to Bigg Boss 17 contestant Navid Sole, she has already thought of a bunch of baby names. In fact, during her stint in the reality show, she and Vicky left their fans exhilarated when she took a test after experiencing symptoms of early pregnancy.

Now, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Ankita reveals that she and Vicky often discuss babies even though there might still be some time before she embraces motherhood. “We always talk about babies. Children are the future of our relationship. I’ve nothing to hide when I get asked about wanting to have children. Bachche toh honge hi kabhi na kabhi. We don’t know when we’ll have children but we definitely do talk about it. And when I talk about babies, I feel really good,” she smiles.

Further, she has already made plans for how she wants to give her future children a glimpse of her married life with Vicky. And this is why, Ankita’s social media game has become stronger as she wants it to be a virtual library of all the endearing moments she has and continues to share with her husband.

She tells us, “I want to create so many memories for our babies. I always tell Vicky that when we grow old, our babies can see our videos and pictures and say, ‘Achcha, mamma aur papa aise the.’ That will be something very interesting. I want them to watch every video that I’ve recorded and posted.”

The Pavitra Rishta actor also shares that AnVi Ki Rasleela, the annual Holi extravaganza in the Lokhande-Jain household, was conceptualised out of her desire to freeze their happy memories for posterity.

“I make sure that every festival that we celebrate should have our families and friends in it so that when we look at them after 20 years, I want us and our babies to think about the amazing life we’ve lived! That’s how AnVi Ki Rasleela was born. We thought of hosting it every year so that our children can also see the memories that we’ve captured,” she remarks.

A while back, Ranbir Kapoor shared that Alia Bhatt writes e-mails to their daughter Raha every day. And it seems like Ankita has similar plans. “I keep sending Vicky our old pictures and my memory is so sharp that I remember every single detail about them. I’m going to feed all of them into an email address and when my kids turn 18, I’ll give them the password. They will have so many things to watch. I’ve seen my own wedding video so many times. I still see my pheras and cry. Creating memories is a very important part of our lives,” she adds.
