Cristiano Ronaldo rejects 118-million-euro PSG offer?

Real Madrid's start Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo has rejected a whopping 118-million-euro offer from Paris St. Germain (PSG), according to media reports.

Ronaldo was reportedly offered a four-year contract worth 68 million euros with a signing-on bonus of 20 million euros besides 100 percent of image rights if he were to join the club next summer. In case the former Manchester United striker agreed to join in 2015, when his current deal with Real ends, the amount offered was 50 million euros.

Earlier, Ronaldo had indicated that he will not renew his contract with Real beyond 2015, putting all the major football clubs on an alert. United too have reportedly stepped up their efforts to bring Ronaldo back to Old Trafford.

Former United coach Alex Ferguson sold Ronaldo to Madrid in 2009, but the 28-year-old has admitted several times in the past few months that he is not totally happy in the Spanish capital. Real President Florentino Perez had earlier stated that he expects Ronaldo to end his career at the club.
