Sadio Mane’s wife Aisha Tamba has spoken about her relationship after getting married to the Senegalese footballer. Speaking via a relative, Tamba told the Daily Mail that her marriage to one of the world’s best footballers would likely make things a lot different than they used to be. Tamba, who is reportedly 18, also specified that her husband’s fame and money were not going to impact her simple way of life. She said, “I am looking forward to my new life and I know it will be very different. But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith.”
In the same interview, Tamba also spoke about the attention that she was getting recently. Tamba reminded the fans that she belonged to a very humble family which is why her marriage to a star footballer will not change anything.
“I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family. We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. I am a very down-to-earth person, this is how I was raised.” Tamba further said that regardless of everything, she was quite honoured to be ‘Mrs Mane’. “But I’m very honoured to be Mrs Mane”, she added.
Mane not only enjoys global recognition as a prominent footballer but also boasts considerable wealth. He is currently on a four-year contract with Saudi Pro League outfit Al Nassr. Mane’s Al Nassr deal is reportedly worth over £136 million.
In addition to his astronomical salary, Mane reportedly owns numerous luxury cars, including a Bentley Continental GT, Mercedes G63, Audi RS7 and Range Rover Vogue. Mane is also known for his philanthropy- building schools and hospitals in his hometown. The Senegalese has donated thousands to various charities in his country for growth and development.
The Daily Mail even reported that Aisha Tamba is set to join her husband in Saudi Arabia later this year. She is currently in school and is expected to finish her higher secondary exam soon. The couple is also reportedly not going on a honeymoon due to Tamba’s father insisting his daughter attain her baccalaureate, a qualification that students get once they complete their secondary education.
Coming back to on-field developments, Senegal will play their first game of the AFCON 2024 today at the Stade Charles Konan Banny de Yamoussoukro. The Senegalese team’s attacking unit will hugely depend on Mane’s creativity and his goal-scoring prowess.
