According to report in The Independent, David Moyes has admitted he's confident that the United can make some signings this Summer regardless of whether Cesc Fabregas joins the club or not.
Moyes has hinted that he may be forced to pursue other targets, with the additional problem of the uncertainty over Wayne Rooney's future. "I never said I knew we would get him [Fabregas]," said Moyes when asked about Fabregas as his side prepare to face FC Kitchee in Hong Kong Monday.
Moyes had earlier insisted that no decision has been made on United's next move, while also emphasising the quality already on show at Old Trafford.
"I couldn't tell you if there will be another bid," he said at a press conference in Hong Kong. "Obviously we'll take stock and make a decision on what we do next but we have a good squad already. You can't forget about the quality that's already here.
Tarlier, The Sunday Express Sport had reported that the midfielder has agreed to join Manchester United after a secret meeting between his agent Darren Dein and United's chief executive Ed Woodward.
