How to Star a Slack Channel on iPhone or iPad

Open Slack on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the icon containing multicolored squares and a black “S” inside. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.

Tap the Slack logo. It’s the rainbow hashtag at the top-left corner of the screen. This opens the menu.

Tap the channel you want to star. This opens the channel.

Tap the down-arrow next to the channel’s name. It’s at the top of the screen.

Tap the yellow star. It’s to the right of “Info” at the top of the screen. As long as the channel is starred, it will appear at the top of the channel list under the “Starred” header.
