Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has almost finished shooting and entered the post-production stage. The actor has moved to his next film with Venkat Prabhu. The film commenced its shooting in Chennai after the puja ceremony was organised on Monday, October 2. According to the latest reports, actors Mohan and Jayaram are the latest additions to the cast of Thalapathy 68, which already includes Prabhudeva and Prashanth.
According to ETimes’ report, the source close to the development shared that Mohan’s character will have different shades and he has many scenes where he will be sharing the screen space with Thalapathy Vijay.
Actress Meenakshi Chaudhary, who was recently seen in Kolai, has been roped in to play one of the leading ladies for this action-packed entertainer. The film will have Vijay in dual roles as a father and son.
It was earlier reported that actress Priyanka Mohan is most likely to pair up with Vijay as the female lead.
Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu shared a picture of himself and on the text, it reads: “October Begins.” The director revealed that all pictures and updates regarding the film will unveiled after Leo hits the theatres.

According to the shooting schedule, the shooting began with a song sequence which will be shot in Chennai. The team will then move abroad for the second schedule of shooting. Last month, Vijay and Venkat Prabhu went to Los Angeles for a 3D VFX scan of himself for the film and explored new technologies.
Yuvan Shankar Raja has also been roped in to compose the music for the film. The film is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment.
