Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda’s recently released movie Kushi has taken the box office by storm. The romantic drama hit the theatres on September 1 and was one of the highly anticipated movies for the respective fans. Not just Telugu but the movie has amassed many accolades and appreciation from fans from different parts of the country as well.
The movie’s five-day collection is around Rs 70 crore worldwide and is expected to enter the Rs 100 crore club soon. Meanwhile, it has created a new record. Kushi set the cash register ringing with its massive collection in the opening weekend. But the love from the audience continues to grow. Recently, it created a new record in Tamil Nadu by emerging as the highest-grossing Telugu movie in the Tamil-speaking state of 2023. Its collection at the Tamil Nadu box office is Rs 7 crore.
This movie starring Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha is impressing the audience of all languages. Khushi, who impressed everyone as a love and family entertainer, is doing well at the box office in all languages besides Telugu.

The movie Kushi is a romantic drama backed by Mythri Movie Makers and also stars Sachin Khedekar, Rahul Ramakrishna, Murali Sharma and Vennela Kishore in key roles.
Kushi is the story of Viplav and Aaradhya, essayed by Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu respectively, who fall in love during their vacation in Kashmir. But their love faces challenges when their family disapproves of their relationship and tries their best to keep them apart. However, despite their parents’ protest, they go ahead and tie the knot, but soon start facing problems in their marriage.
Kushi was an important release for the actors as their previous ones witnessed a lacklustre performance at the box office. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen on Shaakuntalam which did not create much hype, while Vijay Deverakonda marked his Bollywood debut in Liger opposite Ananya Panday was a huge disappointment for fans.
