KRISHNAGIRI: One person died while three others including two tourists from Dubai were injured when the luxury coach bus in which they were travelling met with an accident near Krishnagiri on Monday.The private bus from Hyderabad was proceeding to Coimbatore in wee hours. As many as 30 passengers including driver were in the bus when it overturned after dashing against a road side tree near Basavanna temple, bordering TN and Andhra Pradesh. The vehicle overturned when the driver tried to avoid the lorry coming from the opposite side. On information, Kandikuppam police Inspector Dakshinamurthy, SI Venkatasamy and other police personnel rushed to the spot. All the injured passengers were sent to Krishnagiri GH. The seriously injured bus driver Babu of Salem died en route to the hospital. Narayana Rao (53) of Hyderabad and Musrath Haseen (43) and Raheem Unnisa (39) were seriously hurt. Both Haseen and Unnisa are tourists from Dubai. Traffic on Krishnagiri-AP road was hit for over three hours due to the mishap.
