BANGALORE: In a major surgery to the Police Department, the Police Establishment Board (PEB) has transferred 228 police officers across the State.On Friday, 48 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs), 107 Inspectors and 73 Sub-Inspectors were transferred. Among the 48 DySPs transferred, five are from City Armed Reserve (CAR). The PEB has also transferred the Assistant Commandant of IRB, Munirabad, M Parameshwarappa to Ninth Battalion of the Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) in Bangalore.
