New Delhi: Dr Subramaniam Swamy has sought Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's sanction to prosecute P Chidambaram in the 2G scam case.
Swamy, a petitioner in the 2G spectrum allocation case, has accused the Home Minister of suppressing facts against DB Realty director Shahid Balwa. The Janta Party president has accused Chidambaram, who was the Finance Minister when the spectrum pricing was decided, of being in collusion with telecom minister A Raja in favouring players. Swamy also accuses the Home Minister of keeping the Prime Minister in the dark about his decision.
Swamy has also sought to examine the role of Chidambaram son Karti in buying arms through arms dealers.
